Making somethign that works, that you can touch and play with, should absolutely be your first priority. At Denki, there have been no exceptions to this. Every concept we've ever had, including Quarrel, has had work started on a prototype just a few days after the concept was thunk of. Suck on that, all those peopel who were telling me than you need to spend at least 6 months writing a big design doc before makign something work.
