Next Tuesday, the 29th, sees the second installment of the Denki Documentary series! This month, it’s Helvetica:
Typography, graphic design and global visual culture find their home in this witty and intelligent film. The proliferation of a typeface feeds a larger conversation about the way type affects our lives.
This is the film that inspired the creation of Denki Documentary, and I know I for one am thoroughly looking forward to it!

I saw Helvetica on BBC 4 a few months ago and sat enraptured by the whole thing. It’s an astonishing and riveting piece of film making. Plus you can tell your friends you sat and watched a documentary about a font. Geek Cred +9.
