Adopt A Word is a great fundraising idea from I CAN, the children’s communication charity. If you haven’t heard about it, the idea is that you pick a word for yourself or as a gift, send I CAN £20, and they send you an adoption pack meaning that word is sponsored by you for a year. All the funds raised go towards I CAN’s efforts ensuring that “no child’s potential is needlessly wasted because of a difficulty with speaking, understanding or interacting.”

Since Quarrel is a game all about words, we’ve adopted the game name (see here) in support of I CAN’s work. If you have a spare £20, why not adopt your favourite word too?
