Behind the chocolate waterfall and through the Oompa-Loompa refectory, lie the offices of the Denki team. Or at least that’s the impression we like to cultivate. Mysterious, yet playful. Highly designed, yet relaxed. It’s a playground of endless fun and serious purpose.
We’d like to give you an insight or two into the plush and effervescent surroundings in which Denki ponders and strives to create new playthings. So we’ve decided to give you a chance to see ‘behind the scenes’ as it were. A bit like the part at the end of a David Attenborough documentary, where you see the cameraman being eaten by sharks, paragliding around volcanoes or stroking a puffin.
So allow us to present your first glimpse at the dark corners of Denki…
Watching over an exploratory board game of Quarrel, a proud wolf, fresh from the hairdressers, scents victory, lifts his face to the wind and howls triumph…
Denki’s fondness for labelling objects in a ‘Bat Cave’ fashion gets a little out of hand during a testing session.
The Denki ‘OBJECT’. Nobody know what it is, where it came from or why it remains, radiating cold menace, like a gun in a fridge. It’s baleful influence frightens and intimidates.

That, dear sirs, seems like a gamedesigner’s desk!
…As for the object, it’s horrors remain secret, even to one as strangely dumb as myself!
It’s a piece of tank track. We were out in the field giving this combat vehicle some stick (purely for research purposes you understand) and our Bad Boy Boyd broke it: slammed the heavy metal machine into a corner and CRACK! went the track. The owners gave us this trophy. Now it’s a matter of pride on our bookcase.
