One of my favourite websites is Board Game Geek, and recently they’ve published their Gift Guide for 2009. They’ve put together a comprehensive list, categorised by all-time favourites, audience age, audience size and thrown in some card games for good measure.

As you may have noticed, we’re quite partial to board games, so we recommend taking some time out and trying something other than the traditional post-dinner snooze this winter.

And if anyone’s stuck for ideas, I’ll take a copy of Dominion or Lost Cities.
