It’s true.  Denki is TEN Today.  A whole decade of Denki – imagine that.  That makes us, we believe, the oldest operational games company in the whole of Scotland.

Why, back in Two aught double O, a trio of young ‘uns from Dundee (and Australia or ‘New Holland’ as it were known in yesteryear) decided they’d like to make games, by jiminy and out they set to make it so.  Of course in those days, there was none of your ‘Xboxes’, or ‘connected gaming’ or confounded ’social networking’ neither.  Instead they made do with the Gameboy Color and only two dimensions for their graphics…

Of course it was all rationing back then.  For the first sixmonth, the whole Denki team had to share the same teabag, sucking on it for nourishment…

Yes, we are now qualified to deliver all of our blog posts in the style of Grampa Simpson and you, our young apprentices, have to listen keenly.

We’re all off now, for cake and jelly and ice cream and games and presents and hats and pass-the-parcel and enough sweets to kill an Oompa Loompa.

Remember, you’re all very welcome to come and join us at 5pm in Dukes Corner in Dundee and help us celebrate the first ten years of Denki.
