Denki Support (Part One)

At Denki, we want to answer any questions you have about our games as best we can; therefore we’ve set up a specific support email for you to keep in contact with us.

If you have a query about one of our games you can send an email to support@denki.co.uk and we’ll get back to you just as soon as we can.

Alternatively, you can check out the support page for your game, which may already have the answers you seek. The frequently asked questions section also lists and answers the most pertinent questions about our games, whether its clarification on content or information on known bugs.

Free Game Save Status

We wanted to allow any progress made in the Free Version of Denki Blocks! to be carried over when playing the Full Version, therefore we have devised a way to do just that. The only way this can be achieved is by having OS 3.0 or above installed on your Apple device whether it is an iPod, iPhone or iPad. This is due to the Save Game status being saved to Pasteboard, the device’s copy and paste clipboard software, which is only available on OS 3.0 or higher.

So, if you make a whole bunch of progress in Denki Blocks! Free and decide you want a whole load more, you won’t have to repeat all the puzzles you have already conquered upon purchasing the Full Version, as all your progress will be transferred immediately to the Full Version once it’s been downloaded.

The only rule is to not use the Pasteboard functionality between making progress in the Free Version and downloading the Full Version.

Neat, eh?

Paul.

Here’s a question for you Conster: if I delete the free version, does it still maintain all my save game data or will it reset it?

Conster says:

Thomo: The Game Save data will be stored to the Pasteboard so any progress made in the Free Version of Denki Blocks! will be transferred to the Full Version as soon as the cover screen is accessed after running it for the first time.

The Free Version can then be deleted if need be, as all your progress will have already been transferred to the Full Version.

The Game Save data will not be transferred after making progress if the device is switched off or something else is copied and pasted to the Pasteboard prior to downloading the Full Version within the same session.

The best bet is to run the Free Version before downloading the Full Version and then run the Full Version once, after which deleting the Free Version will have no detrimental affect to your Game Save data.

Awesome. I’ll let you know if it doesn’t work as expected… ;-)
