“What have Denki been doing this week?”, I hear you ask.
“Why, that’s easy” I say, ”we’ve been making Denki Blocks! Daily Workout.”
“What’s that?”, you enquire, intrigued.
“Also easy” I say, “it’s a whole new version of Denki Blocks! especially for playing on Facebook. You play it every day, kind of like a daily crossword for the Nintendo generation.”
“Cool!”, I hear you exclaim.
“Indeed!”, I concur.
Oh yes, as of today you can play Denki Blocks! Daily Workout on Facebook – FOR FREE! It’s still a work in progress at the moment, but don’t let that dissuade you from putting it through its paces; a Denki work in progress will probably feel more finished that a lot of the finished Facebook games you’ve played.
It’s the same Denki Blocks!, but not quite as you know it. Denki Blocks! Daily Workout presents you with a BRAND NEW set of five puzzles EVERY DAY – the same five puzzles as the rest of the world, so it’s easy to compare your performance with friends. These are special bite-size puzzles, designed to test those essential Denki Blocks! skills. But you only get one shot at solving them, so make it count!
Whether in preparation for the nefarious challenges of the iPhone version, or perhaps just as a warm up for the day ahead, there’s nothing like a little bit of Denki Blocks! to get the old brain cells pumping.
For anyone that remembers the Game Boy Advance version of Denki Blocks! you might recognise Denki Blocks! Daily Workout as an intriguing blend of Puzzle Mode and Workout Mode. We’ve been living with it for a little while now and really enjoying it, but we’re far more interested in what everyone else thinks now. We’d like Denki Blocks! Daily Workout to become a welcome part of your daily routine, so have a play and see what you make of it.
Do be sure to leave a review and let us know what you like and what you don’t like. Is it “shareable” as is? Or is there something we would need to add to make you want to tell your puzzle-loving friends about it? Whatever your opinion we’re all ears, and keen to hear your ideas and suggestions for improving Denki Blocks! Daily Workout in future.
In the meantime, please be sure to ask all your friends to give it a try. The more feedback we get, the better chance we have of turning it in to everyone’s perfect Facebook puzzler over time.
Enjoy!
Colin.
PS: And because it’s Flash based, it means all you Android users can now enjoy something your iPhone brethren can’t… just stroke the screen to move the blocks, or use the little track ball thingy – whichever you prefer. Don’t say we don’t think of you!

Denki blocks is requesting permission to may email me directly.
Denki blocks is is requesting permission to post status messages, notes, photos and videos to my Wall…. See more

Why do I have to grant access to post on my wall etc?
Yep, sounds pretty full on doesn’t it?
User authentication is a requirement of Facebook applications. We could not bypass this requirement and still deliver an experience appropriate to the platform.
Despite the impression it may give, it’s only there to allow us to use the typical hooks of a Facebook game (invites, wall posting, etc) in Denki Blocks! Daily Workout.
We treat being given access to this personal data as a privilege and, as our privacy policy confirms, would never knowingly exploit it.
However, we absolutely understand some people’s concerns with things like this and will be discussing our options next week. Watch this space
Also, for clarity, there is *no* automatic posting to your wall by the game. You only post what *you* choose to share.

Cheers Sean that clears things up. It all sounds rather scary (which is probably why I have zero apps enabled on Facebook)
Is there some way it can prompt me to do the workout? Maybe by me flipping a switch somewhere?
Yes it could, but no it doesn’t at the moment. May I suggest setting a daily calendar reminder on your iPhone, or tying a knot in your handkerchief in the meantime?
Neither of those things has worked in the first 34.5 years of my existence
I got my first crown today. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if when I published it to my profile everyone could see I got a crown and be all jealous?
What plans do you have for the Denki dollars? I’m hoping unlockable mutli-colour puzzles to do whenever you feel like it.
