This time Plankton’s evil plan involves getting SpongeBob out of the way while he steals the Krabby Patty secret recipe, and to do so he’s been telling King Neptune all about Sandy Cheeks. Entrancing him with tales of Sandy’s brave deeds, enthralling him with the exotic-ness of having a land creature as a Queen.

Listening too long to Plankton’s whisperings, King Neptune has kidnapped Sandy - because a King doesn’t ask permission, he commands!

Under the cover of night, SpongeBob must save Sandy from being married to King Neptune and recover the Krabby Patty secret recipe from Plankton.

One dark and stormy night in Bikini Bottom, the Ghost of the Flying Dutchman (having been laughed out of the Pirate Ghost Convention for his lack of shoulder-animal-companion) sweeps through the town, and steals SpongeBob’s pet snail Gary!

Thinking this is an ideal replacement he places Gary upon his spectral shoulder as he and his Pirate Gang return to their spooky Pirate Ship.

With only one thought in his spongy head and missing Gary terribly, SpongeBob seeks Patrick’s help and sets out on a quest to get Gary back!

Take control of SpongeBob and follow the trail of terror left by the Flying Dutchman and his Pirate cohorts as it leads you out of Bikini Bottom all the way to his hiding place and onto the Ghost Ship of the Flying Dutchman itself.
